Description

Name: Gaius (or at least that's all he'll give you)
Class: Spy/Assassin
Race: Fae (dullahan)
Height: In his armor, he's the biggest humanoid in the scene. The armor doesn't seem to have a set size, but the minimum is about 7'7". Outside of it, he's a modest 6'. How the armor is so bulky is a mystery to everyone.
Age: He lost track about 40 years ago, but he's guessing he's around 100
Faction: N/A

Personality: On a standard day, he is very chill and reserved, opting to not say too terribly much unless he has to. Most of this is due to the fact that he typically has a mundane day-job, and believes in at least doing a good job if you're gonna do it at all. He'd rather be out and enjoying himself, but as a mature (enough) person, he knows that some things have to be done, even if they're not ideal. Gaius has a reputation among those few that spend a lot of time around him for being relatively selfless and helpful, doling out advice when he can, though generally tinged with sarcasm.

While rare, he does decide to give himself a break every once in a while and take up a job, and the laid-back, good-natured personality does a 180 and he becomes boisterous, loud, and does his damndest to be intimidating, which given his stature and voice, isn't too terribly hard for him. After he's had his fill of terrifying his target before they get brutally murdered, he goes back to his facade, as calm and friendly as if he wasn't out Headless Horsemanning it up a few hours ago.

Abilities
About This Whole "Headless" Thing - He does have a head, and he quite likes his head, and he can put his head back on if he needs to pretend to be human. He can also put other people's heads on, and in fact keeps a few spares in his pendant (more on that below). His own head is able to see clearly in complete darkness, and he can hold it aloft to see even further than usual.
Rider - He's a great rider, able to quickly adapt to any sort of beasty. Animals tend to like him a lot more than people, making it easy enough to ride ones that are big enough.
Swords-whipman - After years upon years of practice, he's gotten very skilled using his weird weapon, though he does prefer to not fight. It's so ridiculous and unwieldy for anyone else that he gets weird looks from those who aren't familiar with how gracefully someone in hugeass armor can fight with such a weapon.
Dullahan Nonsense - Being what he is, were he to call someone's full name, they're marked for death, and he's able to easily discern their location. No mundane lock or barricade can impede a dullahan's progress, so that's helpful in reaching his target.

Defenses
Hugeass Armor - This doubles as a weakness, as in his armor, he's very hard to harm with physical attacks, but it's loud, heavy, and slow, leaving it as a kind of last resort and/or guise. His armor's got the reputation as an assassin, not his face.
Headless - Decapitation doesn't really bother him much, and he can't be suffocated, but he's still perfectly killable in other ways.

Weaknesses
Gold - The mere sight of gold causes him to flee in panic. Bright side, he's very good at distinguishing gold from pyrite, but this also means that currency is typically a huge hassle for him. Anyone familiar with dullahans can probably put two and two together when he asks for payment in non-gold coins and food.
Ego - He thinks very highly of himself, so he tends to get sloppy and angry if things get unexpectedly difficult. He's also nearly impossible to reason with using standard moral values, as there's a pretty heavy disconnect between what a standard person finds okay and what he, as a creature who has murder built-in to his mindset, thinks is okay. He's also a bit touchy about the "technically a fairy" bit.

Gear
Pendant - His most valuable possession, as it's also all of his possessions. He keeps spare heads, his armor, and his weapon in here. It allows him to don and doff his armor almost effortlessly, and is in general, extremely useful. He keeps it hidden under his clothing usually, but it binds itself to his armor when out, creating an "obvious boss weak spot."
Weapon - Usually a sword, but it can also extend itself about 20 feet and be used like a whip.

Other: There's a pretty big scar around the neck area. When he pops a head on, the scar is still there, so he makes sure to cover his neck at all times. There's also some massive self-hatred going on, for reasons. Something about wanting things to be more stable and generally happier for more people so he gets more of a kick when he kills someone, but also knowing he's a colossal asshole for being that way. Eh.

This is all super rough-drafty. I'll undoubtedly go back and tweak/clarify things later. All my characters are so shitty on paper, har.
