Description

From left to right, here's some duders:

Veywind

[Traits]

  • Veywind's a derpy robot that forgets he has arm blades and hand cannons but look he's just so cute in a weird bugninja way.
  • He's naive and doesn't know too terribly much, but does make sure to learn things he knows he doesn't know. Vey would much rather makes friends than enemies, but knows he's here to compete, even if that kinda bothers him.
  • It's extremely difficult to get him in an actual bad mood. He wears his emotions on his sleeve, but usually levels back out to annoyingly cheery quickly.
  • He's not very observant, as the smallest things are fascinating to him.
  • His antennae pick up extremely faint vibrations, which makes his hearing excellent, but can also cause loud noises to disorient him.
  • The edges of his wings are extremely sharp, and only allow him to hover a few feet off the ground as opposed to properly fly.
  • Vey's "coat" is actually part of his body.
  • The eye in his chest is actually a furnace where the remains of food are processed and also what powers his hand cannons.
  • Excess heat is discharged through the trios of red vents.
  • Is powered by eating, drinking, sleeping, and breathing, like a normal animal (the thing over his mouth can be pulled down). He primarily eats meat and drinks water, and doesn't require much sleep. What his body doesn't use is exhausted through the holes in his hands as steam or smoke.
  • He uses very simple words, because that's all he knows.
  • Is about 5'6" and like, a month old.
[Combat]
  • Vey's fighting style consists of quickly entering and exiting melee, using his claws, wings, arm blades, and kicks to deal damage.
  • His body is a woven mesh of metals that gives him flexibility and durability, whereas his limbs are plated with dense sheets of metal, giving weight behind his swings while still allowing him to be relatively nimble.
  • The cannons in his hands are currently experimental, and take a while to charge before they're able to blast out fireballs as intended.

Greymal Shellfinder

[Traits]
  • Grey's a wizard; he conjures things, blows things up, and is generally small and agitating because he just won't stop asking questions and writing down absolutely everything.
  • The magic he's best at focuses on getting things from one place to the next, as well as making things stop moving. He prefers more "intelligent" methods of combat, as explosions and ice spears leave behind very little to take notes of afterwards.
  • His life's goal is to learn as much as he possibly can, so when he was asked to take notes of a construct's performance in a tournament full of extradimensional people, he couldn't contain himself.
  • He's very nonchalant about where the things he summons come from or where the things he banishes wind up. It's the one true exception for his need to know everything.
  • He's been known to get aggressive if someone won't tell him something he wants to know. This includes mostly just scratching and biting, like the little cat he is.
  • Those glasses are important, but he can mend them with magic if they get damaged.
  • Grey knows he's soft and cute, please don't bring it up. He's also not actually a cat, and would prefer not being called one thank you very much.
  • His coat is like velvet though man.
  • He's about 2'5" and is technically an adult, though he doesn't often act like one.
  • He talks very quickly and jumbles his words up a lot, making him kind of hard to understand sometimes.
  • Almost entirely carnivorous. He'll eat other things, but he has trouble digesting them.
[Combat]
  • Greymal is small and fragile, but knows how to use his size and speed to his advantage. He's naturally very evasive, and combine that with teleportation magic, and he's almost impossible to pin down.
  • Has occasionally been seen teleporting vehicles into people and then back to wherever they came from, leaving very confused passengers.
  • Will use blasts and blades of ice if dodging and being generally annoying isn't enough for his allies to win.
  • If pressed, he'll bust out the pseudo-time magic, which doesn't so much mess with time as it does someone's perception of it. It's no fun having pigeon-vision and seeing everything a couple seconds after it happens, but it is pretty fun having precognition.
  • He can only focus enough to use one spell at a time, so no jumping through a portal and throwing a fireball behind him.

Praetor [Captain/Babysitter]

[Traits]

  • Praetor's a butt, and he creates zones of law, where it's physically impossible to lie or break rules. With enough willpower, he can also impose his own laws into the field, like "no jumping" or "gunpowder is inert." Only one at a time, though.
  • The gems in his hands can be pressed to produce smaller ones, kinda like popping a pimple, but if pus was worth insane amounts of money. Grody analogy, I know.
  • He's always serious, even when he's drunk. It's actually impossible to tell when he's drunk, as he holds his liquor insanely well.
  • He is most likely drunk.
  • Puts the "fun" in "functional alchoholic." He's... not really that fun though. He's all about honor and rules and just generally being a wet blanket.
  • The horns on top of his head are like his ears.
  • Don't ask about the missing one.
  • His face does not (usually) come in any other flavor than "super srs."
  • His speech pattern is very proper and sophisticated, and doesn't believe in nicknames.
  • It's a robe, not a dress. He wouldn't care either way though.
  • He's 6'4"ish and reeeaaal old. Human terms, he's like 45 though.
  • Will rarely break out a dad joke, told with complete seriousness and a straight face.
[Combat]
  • He's very skilled with his axe, prefering to use the shaft to defend while he talks an opponent out of a conflict.
  • While he comes off as dull, he's arguably even more clever than the team's wizard, usually finding the exact law to shut down an enemy while not hindering his team.
  • Imposing his own law onto his field is distracting, and lowers his reflexes.
